We are gearing up for an exciting festival with children’s choirs from all over New Jersey on Saturday, March 19, 2016. We will be joined by the Newark Boys Chorus, Sussex Children’s Choir, and Princeton Girl Choir. We will also have an opportunity to work with an amazing clinician, Dr. Anne Matlack! Students in the Chorale will have an opportunity to sing, participate in fun activities, and build friendships with other singers from around the state!
The day begins with registration between 9-9:30 outside Nicholas Music Center. This will be followed by combined rehearsal, time with our clinician, and break-out sessions. The final concert will begin at 3PM. Doors will open between 2:30 and 2:45 for families to enter.
Students will need to wear jeans and their RCC polo. Sneakers are also acceptable. Students should also pack lunch and water to keep them hydrated throughout the day.
We will be singing:
o, colored earth
We Sing for the Children
Domine Deus, Agnus Dei
When I Close My Eyes
It is important that we have everyone in attendance from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. (The concert should be about an hour long.)
Looking forward to an exciting and enriching day!
